Tellmi; reaching young people that other services fail to reach

Innovative mental health solutions are desperately needed as 1 in 6 young people now has a mental health disorder and 76% of young people with mental health issues never get any support at all.

Join Tellmi (formerly MeeToo), the Anna Freud Centre and the York Health economics consortium as they reveal how digital peer support is answering the call for scalable care.

During the session you will hear from Tellmi’s Special Project Coordinator Tom Freeney on their most recent SBRI project tackling health inequalities in Greenwich and how they have benefited from the lived experience of over 716 local young people. You will see how Tellmi fits into existing care pathways and acts as a junction box for young people seeking support.

We are excited to have a young person who uses the app joining us to share their lived experience during the talk.

The Anna Freud Centre will show how Tellmi’s holistic approach to care and their application of data can lead to improvements in their partner settings.

Hayden Holmes from the York Health Economic Consortium will tie the findings together by identifying the potential long term impacts of the service on young people and the health care system.

The webinar will finish with a panel discussion and the opportunity to ask our experienced speakers pressing questions.

The event is open for registration to stakeholders with an interest and subject matter expertise in children and young people mental health, for example people with lived experience with mental health services, NHS Trusts, Private and Independent Mental Health Providers, Universities / Academic organisations, Customers, ICBs and Local Authority Commissioners, Public Health, Social Care Organisations, GPs, Voluntary Organisations / Third Sector, relevant industry, Health Education England, Healthy London Partnership, Kings Health Partners, AHSNs, NHSEI, and other relevant stakeholders.

How will I join the online webinar?

The online webinar will take place via Zoom. A link will be emailed to you 3 days before the webinar takes place and again on the morning of the webinar.
