Medicines Safety Improvement Programme (MedSIP) Shared Learning Pan London event on reducing harm from opioids, by reducing prescribing in c

As the London Maternity and Neonatal safety improvement Programme (MatNeoSIP) workstream leads, we have recognised that the efforts towards adoption of Preterm Parent Passports is rapidly accelerating across the region.

We are facilitating an opportunity to gather all trusts, LMNS and ODN representatives together, face to face, to scope the progress across the region from exploration to adoption of a preterm parent passport.

    Highlights of the event include:

    • Exploration of progress with preterm parent passport implementation in all 5 London LMNSs
    • Speakers from Health Innovation Manchester and Health Innovation North West Coast sharing their experience of regional parent passport implementation
    • Sharing learning and collaboration opportunities
    • A focus on sustaining improvement outcomes for perinatal optimisation

As spaces are limited, we are inviting 2 representatives from each trust to sign up and partake in this event. These individuals will ideally be both neonatal and maternity representation and will be involved in the perinatal optimisation improvements at their trust.

The event will take place on Tuesday 27th February 2024 from 08:30am – 13:00 at The Boardroom, UCLPartners, 3rd Floor, 170 Tottenham Court Road, London W1T 7HA

Refreshments and a light breakfast will be offered to those in attendance.

If you have any questions, or require additional spaces, please get in touch with h.davies-colley@nhs.net (HIN South London) or nikki.glover@uclpartners.com (UCLPartners)
